A law office in Winchester VA is looking to bring on a Legal Assistant to their team. This law firm practices Intellectual Property and Business Law.
This is a part time position that could turn into full time if work load allows. Hours for this position are 9:00am - 1:00pm 5 days a week and about 3-4 hours a day. Pay for this position is between $18.00 and up depending on experience.
Legal Assistant Qualifications :
- Legal experience is not required.
- Self Learner
- Motivated
- Strong Organizational Skills
- Can work on their own
- Proficient typing and computer skills as well as strong verbal and written communication skills
Legal Assistant Duties to include and are not limited to :
- Manage BCRFirm client matters docket and calendars, including: Active Matters spreadsheet docket; Clio Grow and Clio Manage law practice management software databases; and BCRFirm, attorney and admin Calendars
- Process incoming communications by following BCRFirm procedures and policies
- Follow-up and assist with client intake and information-taking
- Ensure that related client matter documents and files are properly organized and available in firm software/ databases
- Respond promptly to client inquiries and provide exceptional service
- Prepare Legal documents, including templates
- Track one's own time spent working on firm matters in law practice management software
