Scion Staffing is conducting a search for a part-time
Legal Assistant on behalf of a family law firm in
Farmington Hills, MI . This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced family law legal assistant looking for a flexible schedule while supporting a busy and collaborative legal practice.
Highlights - Onsite, part-time schedule, 3 days a week, 24 hours per week
- Contract opportunity with immediate start available
- Competitive pay of $30-35/hour
What You Will Do - Prepare, organize, and maintain electronic and physical client files
- Name, scan, copy, and file legal documents accurately
- Answer and direct incoming phone calls in a professional manner
- Schedule appointments and assist with attorney calendars
- Draft routine correspondence and legal forms
- Communicate with clients, courts, and opposing counsel as directed
- Maintain organized case files and ensure documents are filed promptly
- Provide administrative support to attorneys and the legal team
What You Bring - Previous legal assistant experience
- Prior family law experience required
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and standard office equipment
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
